FNF Green Branch Certification Program

To engage our title and settlement offices and their employees in helping protect our natural resources, FNF Green established a program to certify title and settlement offices that incorporate sustainable business practices in their daily operations.

To earn the “certified green” designation, these branches must utilize existing software and equipment to reduce paper usage. For example, scan and email all inter-company communications and supporting documentation, forward additional correspondence by settlement agent via email to appropriate parties and ability to provide electronic signing. The office recycles paper, plastic and aluminum and its staff is educated in eco-friendly practices.

The Branch Certification Program also has a Green Plus designation for those offices that are “certified green” and have incorporated smartVIEW in their daily operations. smartVIEW is a proprietary document and file management software application. It provides electronic file storage and online order management tools that diminish the need for printed documents and paper files. It enables employees to package, mark-up, and distribute documents electronically while saving valuable resources.
